Long Time No Blogging

I know it's been a long time or 3 months to be exact for me not touching my blog site. I don't know why I'm not really motivated to blog since the start of new year, well in fact lots of things happened. Thanks to my co-bloggers who motivates me tonight to touch my blog. I can't believe how fast payingpost works. I just recently signed in and now I'm posting my very first opportunity from them. I was amazed on how they serve everyone especially those people who's income rely on the net. And good news, they changed their web layout to be user friendly and to serve you better.

So with this, it will give people an idea about the products and in return bloggers are paid by advertisers.

Early Christmas Gift

Just today my mother in law gave me my early presents for Christmas. She knew my taste very well. She gave me an expensive make up kit and 2 blouses. I am glad I had an in laws like them, they are like my real mom and dad. They treat me like their own daughter. I'm so excited and can't wait to open the remaining presents they have for me this Christmas.

Half done!

I could say that I am half done with my shopping for Christmas presents for my hubby and my in laws. I already sent money to my family in PH and I'm done wrapping gifts for my in laws. The playstation for my hubby is already wrapped and there's is no way he can touch that before Christmas. He's begging me to use it but my answer is "NO NO NO" hehe.. It's so fun to tease him you have no idea, because he loves games so much. My mother in law is just easy to get gifts because she loves dog. Anything that has dog on it can make her happy. But my father in law, he likes golf but I still can't figure it out what stuff I should buy for him. It's just some golf stuffs are expensive. I hope tomorrow I can complete my presents for them, we will be going to Macy's for the final round. See yeah next time guyz!

Counting Days

Days for Christmas are running too fast. I just can't believe that on my next paycheck nothing will be left for me because I have to buy a playstation 3 for my dear hubby. I don't really want to spend that much, lol.. but I felt bad because he's been wrapping lots of gifts for me since early October. God only knows what are those, but I am pretty much sure that all my Christmas list will be granted or he will be sorry..hehehe kidding!!! Don't really have much to say, I better go now, have to be there at work quarter to eight. It sucks but what can I do!

Just for Fun

I don't know what's on my mind that when my MIL ask me if I will go with her shopping early this morning I said yes. I felt so bad for my hubby because I dragged him to it. He don't really want to wake up too early just to go for shopping. He told me that it's stupid and that all stores doesn't really have that good deals. But I am stubborn and get dress no matter what he said. I don't know why I am into it, maybe I find it more enjoyable to go shopping on black Friday and I am used to it since I came here I've been doing it together with my MIL. And guys, I really did seen things especially clothes that I like for a cheaper price. I am exhausted after the shopping but it was worth it. I had fun and I got lots of stuff for a better deals.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a good turkey day, it's awesome and fun. We ate lunch in the house together with my in laws and after that went to my supervisor's house and met some new friends. It's somewhat like a gathering of Filipino people. My husband was the only american in the group that's why he got bored, lol I'm in trouble. We had great time talking to each other in our own language and most of all we had the time of our life to do karaoke. Everyone had the blast for the holiday. Tomorrow will be the big sale and I am looking forward for it. I will be waking up early tomorrow even though I work but thank god I will start working around 10 o'clock in the morning so I still have time to shop and look for some good deals for christmas. Hope I can find one and can control my shopping spirit..hehehe

Finally Move

It was a busy week for me and you notice this is the only time I touched my blog. Well, everything is going smoothly. We finally found a new house to transfer and I loved it. So near to shopping malls and restaurants, it's perfect. I was going crazy eating out everyday and poor hubby was forced to drive me to places. Oopps, I better go now I have some important things to do for tomorrow.

San Lorenzo de Manila

Last Sat. we had the chance to attend the feast
of San Lorenzo de Manila near our place. Mass was held and the priest was a filipino who flew from PH (thanks to the sponsors)just to be part of the ceremony. After the mass we had lunch and of course the lechon was the first food I saw on the table. Filipinas here, filipinas there. Chitchat here, chitchat there. For some of you here's a little biography of San Lorenzo Ruiz.

Saint Lorenzo Ruiz, aka San Lorenzo de Manila (1600 – September 29, 1637) is the first Filipino saint (protomartyr) venerated in the Roman Catholic Church. He was martyred during persecution of Japanese Christians under the Tokugawa Shogunate in the 17th century. Born in Binondo, Manila, Lorenzo Ruiz was of mixed Chinese and Filipino descent (chinito). His Chinese father taught him Chinese, and his Filipino mother taught him Tagalog. Both of his parents were Catholic.
Ruiz served as an altar boy at the convent of Binondo church. After being educated by the Dominican friars for a few years, Ruiz earned the title of escribano (stenographer) because of his skillful hand and unsurpassed penmanship. He became a member of the Confraternity of the Rosary. In 1636, while working as a clerk at the Binondo Church, Ruiz was falsely accused of killing a Spaniard. Prior to this incident, his life with his Filipino wife, two sons and a daughter was peaceful, religious and full of contentment. Lorenzo Ruiz was beatified in Manila on February 18, 1981 by Pope John Paul II during his Papal visit to Manila, the first beatification ceremony held outside the Vatican. San Lorenzo Ruiz was elevated to Sainthood and canonized by Pope John Paul II in the Vatican City, Rome on October 18, 1987 making him the first Filipino saint and a martyr.On September 28, 2007, the Catholic Church celebrated the 20th anniversary of Ruiz’ canonization in 1987. Manila Archbishop Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales said: “Kahit saan nandoon ang mga Pilipino, ang katapatan sa Diyos ay dala-dala ng Pinoy (Wherever the Filipino may go, he carries his faith in God).”

House Hunting

While enjoying my new job I am also enjoying hunting house with my husband's family. We are planning to move in a different city next month if god forbid. I know the economy is really hurting bad but we are sick and tired of the long travel especially now that I am currently working. So far, we already seen one house and its beautiful. The inside of the house is so clean and I like the color of the bedroom. If the owner will agree on things that we really want we might be moving in less than a month. Am so excited!
